About
Since the after birth supplies needed are often unattainable for low income families, a program called ‘New Mama Care Kits’ was created. They provide mothers with maxi pads, moist towelettes, wipes, disposable underwear, purse size hand sanitizers, information about ‘What to Expect After Giving Birth’ and ‘How to Care for Stitches’, additional materials to recognize signs of postpartum depression and other relevant information for families with young children. We are excited to announce that the program is now statewide, and the kits are now available in Northern and Southern Nevada along with the rural areas surrounding each region.
